Axial fans use a propeller to draw the air into the fan and discharge it in the same axial direction. They are ideal for moving large volumes of air at low pressures. Axial fans are typically used for exhausting dirty air or fumes from processes (such as paint spray booths), supplying fresh air, and general spot cooling of people, rooms, or machinery. TAH sells axial fan offerings which include tube fans, panel fans, personnel coolers and air circulators. Tube fans are available in both direct drive or belt drive models, while panel fans, personnel coolers, and air circulators are all direct drive. Models range in size from 12” up to 72” and are available with cast aluminum, steel, or stainless steel propellers. All units can be manufactured completely in aluminum or fully stainless steel construction, and can utilize standard, chemical-duty or explosion proof motors.
